Welcome to CreateMeals.org ("CrEATe Meals," "we," "us"). By accessing or using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.
1 Purpose of the Site
CreateMeals.org provides planning resources, decision-support tools, and information for organizations involved in nutrition programs such as the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The provider planning core is currently free without usage limits. We do not sell food products or guarantee program compliance outcomes. All content is for informational and educational purposes only.
2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use member features. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. CreateMeals.org is currently available only to users in the United States. We use IP-based geolocation to enforce geographic availability, and users outside the United States may be unable to access the platform.
3 Member Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create a member account. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Not share your account credentials with others
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or appear to misuse the site. Enforcement actions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may include temporary suspension, feature restriction, or permanent account removal.
4 Current Access and Future Service Changes
The provider planning core is currently free without usage limits. CrEATe Meals does not currently offer paid subscriptions, charge recurring account fees, sell usage credits, or process subscription payments.

- Current access remains subject to account eligibility, service availability, and reasonable security, safety, and abuse-prevention controls
- This access statement does not promise that a particular feature will remain available or unchanged
Future Paid Services
CrEATe Meals may introduce paid sponsor, vendor, or other services in the future. These Terms do not authorize us to charge you for a future service. Before any charge begins, we will update these Terms and, when applicable, our Privacy Policy; provide notice of the price and other material conditions; and obtain your affirmative agreement before charging you.
5 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the site in ways that:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to access areas of the site without permission
- Harm or disrupt site operations
- Upload malicious code or harmful files
- Collect information about others without consent
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the site
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or reasonable security, safety, or abuse-prevention measures
- Use the platform to generate content for competing services
We may block or remove any user who violates these rules.
6 AI-Generated Content
CrEATe Meals uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI and Anthropic) to provide features such as menu generation, compliance checking, recipe analysis, and the "Ask Ben" chat assistant. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content (menus, compliance suggestions, recommendations, recipes) may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in your program
- AI output does not constitute professional, legal, or compliance advice
- Your queries, menu data, and related content are sent to third-party AI providers for processing (see our Privacy Policy for details)
- CrEATe Meals is not liable for decisions or outcomes based on AI-generated content
7 User Content and Data
You retain ownership of content you create or upload to CrEATe Meals, including menus, recipes, documents, and chat messages. By using the platform, you grant CrEATe Meals a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide our services.
We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not sell, share, or use your content for purposes unrelated to operating the platform. If you delete your account, your personal data and associated content will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8 Email Communications
If you choose to opt in, you may receive emails such as:
- Updates and news
- New resources and tools
- Member announcements
- Optional marketing messages
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Essential service emails, such as account verification, password resets, and security notices, may be sent regardless of marketing preferences when needed to operate or protect your account.
9 Future Advertising or Sponsorships
CreateMeals.org may include advertising or sponsored content in the future. If this occurs, all advertising will be clearly identified. The presence of ads or sponsored content will not influence our commitment to providing helpful information.
10 Intellectual Property
All content on CreateMeals.org is owned by CrEATe Meals or used with permission. This includes text, graphics, designs, tools, and AI system prompts.
You may:
- View and download resources for personal or organizational use
- Export and use menus, recipes, and documents you create for your program
You may not:
- Copy, sell, or redistribute site content without permission
- Use our content or AI outputs to create competing services
- Claim our content as your own
- Reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate our AI system prompts or compliance logic
11 Third-Party Services and Links
CrEATe Meals uses third-party services to provide certain functionality, including AI processing, food and nutrition data, document processing, hosting, authentication, email delivery, security, and analytics. The categories and providers involved in processing personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
We may add, replace, or remove third-party service providers at any time to improve the platform. When changes materially affect how your data is processed, we will update our Privacy Policy accordingly.
The site may also link to external websites, including USDA resources, manufacturer websites, and state agency portals. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or actions of those sites. Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.
12 No Professional or Legal Advice
Content on CreateMeals.org, including AI-generated content, is for general informational and educational purposes. It is not professional, legal, or compliance advice. 13 Site Changes and Availability
We may update, change, or remove site features, tools, or access terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users of material changes. We are not responsible for interruptions, downtime, or service unavailability.
14 Limitation of Liability
CreateMeals.org is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content, including AI-generated content. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CrEATe Meals is not liable for:
- Errors or omissions in content, including AI-generated menus, compliance analyses or suggestions, or recommendations
- Losses or damages resulting from use of the site or reliance on its content
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Program compliance decisions, audit findings, or disallowances
- Actions or policies of third-party service providers
Your use of the site is at your own risk.
15 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrEATe Meals, its owners, and its service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or reliance on content provided through the platform.
16 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of the site should first be raised through our contact form so we can attempt to resolve them informally.
